DOLAN CLEVERLEY (Set Design) is an installation artist, printmaker and sculptor. He studied printmaking, painting and sculpture while on full scholarship at the Universities of Kansas and Michigan, where he earned a BFA and an MFA, respectively. He is the recipient of three Lockwood Awards (KU, 1991-2), a Teaching Fellowship (U of M, 1992-3), a Redstone Award (U of M, 1993), a Karlsrhue Fellowship/German Research Award (U of M 1994), and the Horace H. Rackham Graduate Research Grant (U of M, 1994). Mr. Cleverley has worked with world-renowned artists including Dennis Oppenheim, Ed Paschke, Mel Chin and Roger Shimomura, and has printed for the Lawrence Lithography Workshop. He has exhibited extensively in the midwest (Michigan ARTRAIN, SAC Print Exhibition and Auction, among others) and in California.
Recent San Francisco exhibitions include Four Walls Gallery, Rose Street Gallery, and Rizzoli Gallery. Currently, Mr. Cleverley works with Semolina Design, a furniture design company in Oakland, and maintains an active and prolific studio South of Market.
KATARINA FABIC ("Prostitute") is proud to be the Prostitute in Goat Island's production of La Ronde by the avant-garde Viennese playwright, Arthur Schnitzler. She last appeared as Rebecca in Desperadoes, has played diverse roles such as the Warden in Co-ed Prison Sluts, Linda in Play It Again, Sam, and the Announcer in Fear and Misery of the Third Reich. She has an Associate's degree in film production from City College of San Francisco and has studied with Shari Carlson and Associates for the past two years. Besides on-stage acting, she has worked on several independent films in San Francisco including Flirting with Power -- a feature documentary about the state of politics during the 92 and 96 elections. She is enjoying becoming a creative presence on stage and in films.
PAT "PAT" GRIFFIN ("Poet") has been on culinary hiatus for the past couple years, but his raw talent and naked enthusiasm has driven him back onstage. He was last seen at various SF speakeasys in The Twist-Off Cabaret as Host, Bon Vivant, and Political Dynamo.
ERIN HARMS (Producer) comes to Goat Island with over 12 years of administrative and production experience in the performing arts and non-profit arenas. She has a BA in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Arts Administration from New York University. While residing in New York City, Ms. Harms worked with Dicapo Opera Theatre, Big Apple Lights Corp., Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and The Bandana Women, and in her spare time as a freelance technician and stage manager. Since moving to San Francisco almost two years ago, Ms. Harms has been the Events Manager at the Exploratorium and an Advisory Board Member of Golden Gate Opera. She is excited to be a founding member of Goat Island and is looking forward to working in the theatre again.

DARIA HEPPS ("Young Wife" / Director) is an actor and director. She has performed locally with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Theater Rhinoceros, Angst Ensemble, City Lights Theater Company, The Theater of All Possibilities and Entree to Murder/ TKC Productions, among others. She has directed with Modacrylic Productions and was a principal founding member of the People's Republic of Chekhov. Ms. Hepps has studied Chinese Opera at the University of Hawaii and has a BA in Dramatic Arts from the University of California at Berkeley, where she received the Josephine Parks Pillsbury Award for Actress of Excellence. Ms. Hepps is currently the Director of Development for Smuin Ballets/SF.
DYAN MCBRIDE* ("Sweet Young Thing") is thrilled to be treading the boards with Goat Island. She is also pleasd to appear in her third play this year with her husband, Dennis O'Brien. She is sure someday they will do a play where they actually speak. Ms. McBride is a Bay Area actress, singer and director/teacher. As a performer, she has worked with 42nd Street Moon, Willows Theatre Company, The New Conservatory and Actors Theatre of Sonoma to name a few. Favorite roles include Lydia in The Rivals, Little Mary Sunshine in Little Mary Sunshine, Jennifer in Do I Hear a Waltz, and Dixie in the Jerome Kern gem, Sitting Pretty. By day, Dyan is a teacher for Live Oak School and The New Conservatory Theatre, where she teaches drama and musical theatre. As a director, she has three upcoming shows, Buzz at NCTC, Alice in Wonderland at Five Oak, and Do Re Mi for 42nd Street Moon. Her production of A Grand Night for Singing recently played to general rave reviews and sold-out houses. Dyan holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre from Cal State Fullerton.
CANDICE M. MILAN* ("Actress") is a professional actor who has performed locally and in various U.S. venues. She was seen most recently at the Exit Theater in The Killing Game and in a benefit performance of Macbeth. She has also appeared with California Conservatory Theatre and Woodminster Amphitheater. In addition, Ms. Milan has performed with The Classical Actor's Company (New York), New Dramatists (New York), Merely Players (New York) and Playmakers Repertory (North Carolina), among others. Ms. Milan holds a BA from Michigan State in Acting and Directing and an MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she was awarded the Joseph Feldman Scholarship for Performance. Ms. Milan apprenticed with the Boarshead Theatre in Michigan and studied performance techniques with the Theatre Tel Quel in Lausanne, Switzerland. She has taught acting and speech and has done extensive work in voice, speech, singing and movement, including martial arts, stage combat, mime and mask work.
